About Us

Established in 1985, the Wagga & District Kart Racing Club has been home to some of regional NSW’s most exciting grassroots motorsport action. Our journey began at Ross Plum Raceway in Ladysmith, before moving in 1995 to our current home on Tasman Road, East Wagga Wagga – now known as Garden City Raceway.

Following a major resurfacing in 2023 with a state-of-the-art Poly Modified Binder Hot Mix, our 840-metre bitumen circuit offers exceptional grip, fast lap times, and a premium racing experience. We proudly run bitumen-only racing, catering to drivers from juniors through to seasoned competitors.

As a proud affiliate of Karting Australia, we operate under the National Competition Rules, ensuring the highest standards of safety, fairness, and competition. Our events range from local club days to major state-level meetings, attracting some of the nation’s top karting talent.

We believe karting is for everyone – from kids taking their first laps in Cadet classes, to experienced racers chasing podiums, and even those simply enjoying the thrill of being on track. Our community is built on inclusivity, sportsmanship, and a shared passion for racing.
