Our Tracks

Tasman Road

A purpose built 800m Bitumen track known for its flowing layout and Top speeds well in excess of 110kmph. The track has recently been a recipient of a government grant allowing us to improve track drainage, a new track surface and upgrades to existing amenities. The new track surface is a specific high grip mix allowing for higher cornering speeds and greatly reduced lap times.

Wagga & District Kart Racing Club holds between 5-7 race meetings a year including a round of the Southern Stars and the Tas O’Hara Memorial which commemorates one of the original driving forces behind the club but also all our wonderful volunteers now and through the years.

Yarragundry

Yarragundry is a 240m speedway built at the Northern end of Wagga International Speedway. Featuring high banking and a clay base it makes for high speeds and close racing.

The speedway is purpose built for the spectacular and aptly named Outlaw Karts. Featuring cages, wings and motorcross engines this class of kart throws back to a bygone era of sprintcars at WIS. Racing also includes ‘flat karts’ which are very similar in design and appearance to sprint karts on bitumen with many competitors running same chassis and motors on both bitumen and clay.
